Default 993 brake flares DIN or SAE ?

Making up some brake pipes. The originals look to be single flare DIN with the flat side next to the flare nut (rather than the convex SAE bubble) - but are they, and are they 37º or 45º - can anyone confirm ?

If you don't know what I'm talking about, welcome to the intricacy of brake pipes

thanks

Lee

DIN/ISO Bubble

they use different size lines depending on the application, mostly 4.75 & 6mm, measure to see which size is used

Bill Your vast collection of technical detail literature never ceases to amaze me. How do you find this stuff so fast?

We store it on our hard drives.

I've learned that what information is on the web today may not be there tomorrow, so grab it and store it.

Thanks Bill, I was getting some apparent leakage, but I suspect it was residual fluid on the flare nut collecting.
