Hello all. I am currently having my leather redone on my shift ****. I removed my center console and have a misc. wire and I don't know where it goes. Can someone please advise me here? It is a 1995 993 c2. Here is a pic. TIA [IMG][/IMG]

Ebrake switch ?

Parking brake light. It goes into the hand brake handle mechanism. Right now, when you pull up the parking, your brake warning is lot lit. After you reconnect the wire (forgot how it is attached), it should be lit. Had the same thing on my car.

this is hard to describe but that is your eBrake light/switch contact.
The rear of the eBrake contacts it and it goes on that little metal bracket...

Thanks guys! I just figured it out. I guess it was already disconnected from prior owner. Now my ebrake light works. Never thought anything of it before. Thanks again.
