1995
I am considering selling my 1995 C2 Convertible. Black on Cashmere. 18 Inch Turbo style wheels on newish tires (2000 front /4000 back miles). Hifi Option (Although the speakers have all been replaced using the stock boxes). It has 16,800 miles. I purchased it in October 09 out of Naples with around 12k miles on it. I am the third owner. The second owner was a collector. This was 1 of 3 air cooled 993 he owned. Others were a Turbo with 2k and a C2 all Black. Since purchasing I have replaced all filters (cabin or engine, replaced all the fluids (Brake, transmission and Oil). I also changed the spark plugs. The original owner replaced the oil every year. I have also replaced the stone guards, rubber engine shroud, and engine and boot struts. I think I have done more but cant remember at the moment. Car runs perfect with a very smooth idle and cold air. The convertible top has never been stuck in the support mechanism and is perfect. Always garaged since new. The origional owner fixed the head gaskets and the car does not leak oil. The original owner painted the hood to fix a rock chip, but no other part of the car has been panted. Car has a clean carfax and has never been in an accident. This car needs nothing and is super clean. The car is located in Tulsa, Ok. Please send me a PM for more photos or to discuss the car. Looking for $38k which is roughly what I have in it. I am considering purchasing a new C4S.
It's nice to get "just what money I have in it" out of a sale of a car, but these 993s are still depreciating assets in, now, an economy where finding buyers with nearly $40K in play money to throw around is harder to find.
It's a nice car with low miles, but $38K can get you a newer, widebody 993 C2S or C4S for the same price. Hopefully you can find a buyer who wants to pay top dollar for a garage queen convertible.
Good luck with the sale.

Not to hijack, but was that car owned by an older gent that had business in the mid west (Chicago maybe, computer bus. I think it was)?
I looked at a car last year and I swear that one is it, not that many low miles 95 black/cashmere '95's out there.
GL with the sale btw

Yeah that's the guy, knew that looked familiar. He must have been in talks with us both at the same time. Said he had someone else looking so I didn't even bother trying to make him a deal. Figured if he was bs'ing me he'd call back and if not, I was to late anyway.
We found one recently and are happy with it. Hope you've enjoyed that one

I have and continue to enjoy the car. I may end up keeping it. I need to make sure that I am not trading to trade which I have done in the past. Liam really never drove the car. He kept the car in great shape.
