Looking for sort of a mini comealong. Duh...on the cab DAS rollbar, if I pulled the uprights on the seat belt attach points in the rear inward a bit, it would slide in and out in probably half the time and quit ripping my carpet. But a comealong seems huge for what I need. Thoughts?

 

some steel cable with a small turnbuckle? you can make small adjustments and it is compact. just an idea.

I have a super beefy ratchet strap you could come over and use, but NY is pretty far from AL.

I am assuming your tweaking will be done with the bar in situ?

edit: I have a longer, yellower, version of this. 4 of them will lift a HMMWV (according to my military friend).
