Anyone running and/or got video footage of Dansk mufflers and Dansk 100 cell cat?

I'm trying to choose between Gert's RSRs and his 100 cell cat and Dansk mufflers and Dansk 100 cell cat.
I'm leaning towards the Dansk option as I'll get brand new stainless steel casings, instead of refurbished steel as with Gerts, but maybe the Dansk option will be too loud in comparison?
I understand there are two options with Dansk mufflers - Sport (300S) and Race Sports (300SEXP). Anyone heard both and how much louder are the 300SEXP mufflers?
Am thinking that with a Dansk 100 cell cat, the 300SEXP will be overkill and hoping the Dansk 300S and Dansk 100 cell cat will be perfect?

Cristel,
I was told by my muffler shop before that I'd have to run a 200cell cat if it's an OBD II car. I have a local shop that did the decibel meter on a 200 cell cat + RSR muffler and measured 104 db, 20" in a 45 deg. angle from tail pipe at 2/3 throttle. Car stationary. That's pretty loud. No video though!

I have the Dansk 100 cell split flow cats with stock muffs. They add some volume and change the tone quite a bit themselves.
David, go look on fvd.us' site. Surprisingly cheap!

I'm sourcing and having mine fitted via Ninemeister, but have also seen them in the UK here:
Dansk 100 cell cat (380S):
http://www.type911shop.co.uk/shop/ar...26aid%3D435%26
Dansk Mufflers are the two at the top; 5444 (300SEXP - loud) and 287 (300S - not as loud):
http://www.type911shop.co.uk/shop/ca...aram=cid%3D%26
You can listen to the various options here, which pretty much answers my own question!:

I'm talking to Paul Redwood at Ninemeister about the mufflers and cat, so will check if I'll be OK.
Am assuming a 100 cell cat will be fine, as I think my car is OBDI as it's a Euro '96 model?

I have factory sport mufflers with 100 cell-could be dansk(not sure)-I have never had a problem with smog check ect.. for almost 15 years. I do have a 95 so no obd problems.
I have to make a new sound video at speed-they sound better the faster you go. People seem to love the sound over the years. Just my two bits. Here is old video sound check.

I had Danske sports boxes fitted and Danske de-cat pipes. The car was really very loud and after a while became annoying. The Danske silencers aslo had a bit of resonnance at around 3k.
I have since sent my Danske silencers to Gert and he modified them to his RSR standard. (Mine were old)I have also fitted my cat back on and the sound is lovelly.
My note here is that with Gerts RSR and a cat the car sounds lovelly. i expect with a 100 cell cat the noise would have a bit of a deaper growl.
great service from Gert as well.
Best of luck with your choice.
Cheers

Sounds awesome Polaris, am going to move forward with Dansk mufflers and Dansk 100 cell cat. Thanks so much for posting, it never ceases to amaze me how forums like Rennlist and 911uk can give you just what you are asking for within a few hours.
Now, if I request a RHD Polar Silver 993 GT2 and Evangeline Lilly in a little black dress, will I get them within a couple of hours?
If you guys need some help in locating them for me, they look like this:

Bart- I sold you the split flow setup, and I've since bought another (used) set. It's a great setup, but I'd never pay $2,600 for this. If I were in the market, I'd avoid the Dansk 1-piece unit due to weight, and seek a used Dansk split-flow setup or get the DachX or Fabspeed sport cats, which are well-priced and lightweight.

Careful! Dansk has 2 models of 100-cell cats: a 1-piece unit that's pretty heavy and costs around $1,200, then a multi-piece split flow design that's really lightweight and runs like $2,600.

Eric, I guess that means I got a much better deal from you that I thought! I have been very happy with these cats - definite weight reduction and sound improvement.
Cristel - I would advise you to do whatever 9M recommends (they previously used Cargraphic and Dansk), as I have a lot of faith in them. Failing that, I would also recommend Chris (DACH) for an excellent product and impeccable after sale support.

I believe mine is a one piece but I recall it not being very heavy. I am also not sure it is a Dansk as it was purchased almost 15 years ago thru Porsche dealer. It has held up and never failed to put a smile on my face. Plus the sport factory muffs. Either way you will enjoy the end result. Post it when you finish!
