Put up a thread on the Racing/DE Forum. Sadly, no 993 anything out there other than torsion bar cars with updated bodywork. But a good turnout, with pretty close competition.

The overall race win went to #12 Bob Stefanowicz with his 900ish HP started-as-a-'69 tube framer over #1 Matt Lowrance with his "baby" 3.8L torsion bar based car.

My 964 looks like a 993 though.

Yeah, there's always one guy trying to reinvent the wheel! Who is in the 914/6? Car looks familiar from my PRC days.

John Nelson. A 914 style body but nothing else left that was original. It makes a good GTL car when you drop a 3.6 into it.

Thanks. Doesn't ring a bell. A green 914/6 does, though. I know everything out there these days (except for maybe Hartley with his 997 Cup) isn't in any way, shape, or form original. Which kinda keeps me at a distance since, even if I had a budget to race a "real' car, I just don't think I'd put the money into a Porsche anymore. Even the Spec 911s seem to have gotten out of hand.
