Default Weight loss program begins
It all started with removal of oem air bag wheel, Bird center arm rest (man that thing was heavy), Installing Kenesis motorsport light weight wheels & now Sparco roadster front seats NLA.
Thanks to Jerrod (Ready killowatt) i bought these gems. You can pick them up with one finger! He also included the very expensive aluminum Sparco brackets.
I love the feel & look.
Next is the RS door panels & rear seat delete.

Looks great. I had my eyes on that ad and passed because I need to get my daughter in the back of my car on occassion. Your pics make me second guess my decision!

Nice. Those would look great in my car. Did you weigh everything for a total loss number? Also did you remove the passenger airbag as well?

Hi Travis,

my mechanic estimates 50-60 lbs each stock seats. Sparco Roadsters are in the 20 lb range.

I would say the driver could usually lose some weight but you would blow away if you did

I was in line before you on those seats, but decided to pass. Haven't sat in any, but looks like they would provide less lateral support than a Pole Position, while being easier to get in and out of. I found some pictures where people had recovered them in leather and they were dead sexy!


I don't care for that steering wheel, but I LOVE the Kenesis(es)!

Time to finish the interior conversion from tan to black. Might not weigh less, but it will look skinnier.
