Sorry for my (poor) attempt at humor A lot of people have asked about fitting Big Reds from the 996/997/986 onto 993s as they are much more available and cheaper. The short answer is that they won't fit without adapters - if you compare the location of the calipers you will see that 993s have them located on the opposite side. Unfortunately AFAIK no vendor offers adapters (I'm actually surprised no one does) so you'd have to have custom adapters made. On the plus side, even though I have done the Big Red conversion, the reality is that unless you track the car significantly, there is not a huge benefit in performance...clearly not when considering the price.
