Tarrett front drop links ?
Guys, does anyone have these ? They look nicely made.
I have a shot front one and am thinking I may as well get these as the Rs ones are around the same price. Would these potentially last longer ? Obviously they don't have any boots that can split which is a help. How about corrosion ?
woudl appreciate any feedback
thanks

I run them with my RS bars/rear droplinks and PSS10s. They're very nicely made, using top shelf rod ends, etc. I live in southern California and mine did start squeeking in need of lube after only a few months. This is racecar stuff so I shouldn't complain.
I can't get them to stop knocking though. Perhaps its me, or the setup, etc. I know, I know. Race car stuff is going to have drawbacks.
I may try the factory RS links and see how they go. Price has come down recently...

I definitely wouldn't do it unless it's for a track car. And definitely don't do it without buying some rubber boots to protect the monoballs. That's what I did, and the boots are working well so far.
There's no advantage to using racey drop links. I'd expect them to have a shorter life due to corrosion.

+1 on boots and periodic lube.
They are well made (overbuilt) and adjustable which is a nice advantage if you change suspension or shackles/link mounts.
Ira at Tarett is absolutely great to do business with. Responds quickly, and ships stuff out often the same day.

Yeah, he's a great guy with a great product. Good point about the adjustability; it is a big plus.
