Default Interior swap?

In my search for a 993, I find some good cars that have interiors other than what Im looking for, which is either gray or blue or some combination.

There are several popping that have black or tan or cashmere interiors.

I like the black dash and steering wheel, but how hard would it be to swap carpets, seats, door panels, etc.

Is this hard to do, and are these parts available readily ( generally speaking) to swap to grey or dark blue?

thanks

As I understand, removing the original carpets is a huge and terrifically difficult task. I can't image the carpets survive the removal. All the other stuff swaps easily. You could always buy new carpets.

I'm debating the same myself. From what I can understand, replacing or surflexing the interior is not a biggie...either find the parts or dye them the color you want. The stickler is the carpet. I've heard dying it makes the texture sort of icky.

Replacing it isn't so bad if you have time/inclination and get both the carpet kit from a couple of places and replace the sound deadening, but I think separating the sound deadening from the carpet has proven nearly impossible, or at least not possible for someone with limited patience and ability such as myself.

Correct, everything is a snap except the carpet. It is attached with this unbelievable goo that never cures and never comes off.
