As stated B4, it just depends on the depth of the scratches and imperfections. FWIW, I've had excellent results with Griot's Fine Hand Polish, then use their Best of Show wax. Their 3 inch red and orange foam pads are excellent applicators, too.

I use Imperial Hand Glaze prior to hand waxing and it does work as advertised. If you have some larger scratches/blemishes that require rubbing compound to take out you will need to follow that with the hand glaze prior to waxing.
