Fellow 993 rennlisters,
My local Porsche dealership made the PET for all Porsche's built between 1950-2010 available on thier website as public domain searchable PDF so you can follow the link and download the PET for whatever Porsche you own for free.

I believe "PET" refers to the program that contains the parts catalogs and lots of other info for all Porsche models. It's a PITA to use; these pdf files are much easier IMHO.

That looks a lot like the one I downloaded some time ago (even has the same filename), but the graphics are much better than the old one! The pics are much clearer, without the jagged lines and all.

The old one has a date of 14.11.2005, UPD 194, had 437 pages; the new one is dated 05.02.2010, UPD 248, 446 pages (not sure what UPD means, but it could mean update). Lastly the file sizes are different. Old one is 5.3MB, new one is 15.2MB.
These screen shots show the PDFs at 200% zoom in Acrobat, old one first, then the new one.

Yes, update 248, better than the old pdf version but still doesnt show supercessions and the like. Latest version as of today is 252, they tend to change every 3 weeks or so. Bigger file size as it probably has a few more cars on it, Panamera, Cayenne 92A, 997TT2, 9872 etc

Not a real wiz with a computer. How do you download this?
Open file (click on link, chose 993, click on "Display") - it may take a few seconds to open
Click "File" in upper left of the new window that opens
Click "Save as"
Scroll to area where you want to save the file
Enter filename (if you want to change it)
Click "Save"
