The Mullin Automotive Museum in Oxnard, CA has opened. It is in the old building that housed Otis Chandler's spectacular collection of cars and motorcycles, but has been completely remodeled. The Mullin has French cars, mostly from the classis period, but with new Bugattis, too, including a Veyron. To attend, you need a reservation. The price is $10 ($7 for those of us in advanced years). Go here to get more details:

It is well worth a visit. Here are a few pictures, including the 1939 Delahaye by Figoni et Falaschi, a Tatra (first I've ever seen), a Bugatti that spent many years in a lake, and a stunning silver Delahaye convertible.

They are open several days on month now, but they are just getting started. Now may ba good time to go. It wasn't crowded yesterday, so it was easier to see the cars and get decent pictures.
