Other than the Porsche Shop manual is there....
Any publication for rebuilding a G50 6 speed available? I've tried " goggle" nothing.......something like " rebuilding G50's for dummies " ......the shop manual isn't very user friendly or I'm more of a dummy than I thought Thanks in advance guys......I've been able to source a 1995 G-50 core and hoping to be able to regear/rebuild it......any help would be appreciated

Why are they so expensive???
Getrag builds gear boxes for almost everybody from Ford trucks to Toyotas and the price of gear sets are nothing like that of our G50's can some one give me an explanation as to why? would be nice to know the interchange as I find it difficult to believe some gears are not inter changeable or am I on DRUGS????
