Koni FSD

I just had them done. I went from Monroes to Koni FSD so I cany compare it ti Bilsteins. But the ride is smooth over bumps, and once you start driving aggresive it feels as if it tightens up just as described from Koni. Its not a night and day difference but it definitely can be felt especially on a rough road. My car is also stock height I'm not sure if it'll work with ROW springs.

I have just installed FSD's with Porsche MO33 lowering Springs and compared to Bilstein HD's they give a very similar sporty ride but without the harshness or crashyness over potholes or bad surfaces.
Comfort-wise they are on a par with the standard stock Monroes.
I don't see any reason for anyone to ever fit Monroes again now that FSD's are available. They are twice the shock at half the price.

I installed the FSD's along with ROW springs and corner balance on a 95 993 Coupe that I sold to a fellow RLer to get my tt. I can't make a comparison to anything but the crappy Monroes that were taken off. The car was transformed. I thought the ride was compliant and firm at the same time. I was very pleased. I paid too much for it all, a habit of mine, so shop prices cuz there is a wide disparity.

Whoever's fitted the HD's and found them too hard (and I know there's a lot of people) should switch to the FSD's.
Same sporty handling as any Bilsteins, same comfort as the Monroes.
At last, a definitive answer.
