Engine in car, is this possible?
Hi
Is it possible to get at any of the cylnder heads on the car with the engine in situ? When I say get to I mean get off, and engine in situ I mean dropped down but still attached to the gearbox. More specifically I am interested in one closest to the rear bumper
Many thanks... Berni

Hi
I was going to have a look at the general condition of things, but if it's not possible then I will have the engine out later in the summer.
Thank you for taking the time to answer.

What do you suspect the issue to be? I’m sure there is a much more conclusive and less invasive way to diagnose this with out an actual tear down/visual inspection.
If it is just a condition inspection,
check the play in your exhaust valve guides through the lower valve covers.
leak down & compression tests..
No sense in cutting the heart out to check pulse.
