Default Brake line help

I'm trying to replace brake lines on my '95 and finding it impossible to separate the hard line from the stainless braided one that is on the car now. Other than soaking it in a cocktail of PB Blaster and Kroil, any other tricks or tips I should know? Using flare wrenches already, may buy crowfoot sockets to see if I can get a bit more leverage.

Thanks
David

Sometimes with flare wrenches in place, and a CCW force being applied, light tapping on the wrenches with a hammer will pop them loose.

Thanks Crhis, will try that. I can get a good grip on them, it just seems like an inordinate amount of force to break them free. Any opinions on using anti-seize on the new ones to avoid this in the future?

Are you having problems with the fronts or rears? I stripped the fronts so I just cut the lines. No biggie. Except new stupid lines are $25 each!! Should have just bought an 8" pre-flared tube from Autozone for $5 then bent them myself...

As for the rears, I don't know what happens if you strip that one. Somebody just had a thread about that last week.

I had to replace the hard line on the left rear of my previous 993, it's fairly short but has a couple of bends in it and goes to a T like fitting, not too bad to replace. The right rear is quite a bit longer (I think), I did not have to replace it.

Thanks for the help, ended up heating them with a heat gun. That and soaking for a day probably did the trick. Fronts were much easier on mine.
