Midnight Blue (95), and Black (97). Like Ken, I got blocked after voting blue. MANY different blues were available during the 993s lifespan, I lust after a Turquoise Blue one myself.

Black is the new black.
Although my real faves are Riviera, Mexico, and Adventurine. Haven't seen any of these in person, but I daresay all the pics around here do them justice.

In my case it is definitely NOT my favorite, i bought my 993 based on mechanical condition, it happened to be black. I would have preferred either Aventurine Green or Arena Red.

Once you've been around here for a while, you'll know it's Riviera Blue. You can close the thread now. But don't go trying to find one, 'cuz it sort of doesn't exist.
Among colors you might actually find, it seems that white, blues and Speed Yellow get a lot of compliments here, but some people don't think they can live with them long-term. If you want a "safe" liquid investment, either Polar or Arctic silver over black will always be easiest to sell.

Was looking for Arctic Silver but ended up with Grand Prix white. In the end it came down to the cars provenance, mods (perfect Speedster seats, Bilstein HD/033 suspension, RSR mufflers), overall condition and service history, that convinced this was the car I've been searching for. The 24K mileage was a bonus.

Picking it up tomorrow. The drive back through Taos and the lower Rockies should be spectacular. The camera is coming along for the ride.....pics to follow.
