Thanks for all the comments, feels good to be out in the open!

Re: The wooden bits. When I first saw the car they were a big negative for me but then I learned the original black leather wheel, e-brake and gearknob would be included in the sale so I purchased the car with changing those items top of the slippery slope list. As time passed however I realised they were dropping down my 'to do' list and now I think they kind of suit the 1960's cockpit. Looking at the uploaded photos I think the camera flash made them a bit more in your face than when viewed in the flesh. Anyway, each to their own and thanks again for the welcome.

Welcome Limey. Love the wheels. Wish mine were that deep. Judging by your other cars, you are a man of exceedingly good taste... specifically the Avant (I don't care what anyone sez, I like them) and the 7.
