Request: need exact dimensions of Bilstein HD drop link mount
Hi,
I am hoping someone with a set of Bilstein HD's and a caliper can help me out, please.
I am running Bilstein HDs and H&R lowering springs as well as an RS rear sway bar, using RS drop links.
The problem is that the RS drop links are barely long enough and I can only adjust the sway bar to the middle hole, not the hole farthest from the swaybar end - the lower A-arm interferes.
Unfortunately the shackles available from TRG won't do the trick as they cannot mount to the boss on the Bilstein HDs that accepts the droplink.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? How have you dealt with it?
I am thinking about having a sturdy steel plate with 2 holes fabricated, that serves as short extension from the mounting boss.
Could someone kindly measure out the inner dimensions of the mounting boss for the Bilstein HD - it is kind of hard to do that with the suspension installed on the car
I'll try to post pictures later this week.
Many thanks in advance.
