iiiittt's baaaack-caution, may cause nausousness to Pcar faithful
sold 6 weeks ago to a customer who buy's/modify's/immediately tires of and trades back in.
Added LED lights at front, removed lower front cracked spoiler, replaced interior with all black-seats look recovered to me because leather has some weird wrinkles in it, and they don't look like the supple leather wrinkles either to me. Also put his race team decals on it, as well as a big $$ radar detector system...according to the dealer. Guy invested well over $5K in the car
Now offered at $38,900

Ok so now you all are making me feel bad about kinda liking it. I am not a fan of the LEDs but the rest of it sorta has a purposeful look about it. Kinda like what Porsche would have done if they were making a 993 RS today. I am not sold on the front bumper but the 2 tone and rear wing for the front 3/4 view anyways looks good.

lots of carbon
the hood, front fenders, front bumper cover/spoiler, and rear deck spoiler are all GT Racing(I think that was it) carbon bits...almost $6K worth
this car is close to me, so I have talked to the dealer both times about the car. I was excited to hear about the new interior-blk vs cashmere, but the result was very underwhelming.
Imagine how much better it would have looked if the last owner(all 6 weeks or so of him) had made his own deviated color blk/cash interior...it could have been very sweet.
yea the car has issues, a couple of holes in it's past also..but might be cool if you could get it in the low 30's
not for me...I just found a budget buster that is making me nervous.

So what exactly makes this a $38,900 993? It has, what, an interior that's been spray-painted black, poorly recovered seats, some aftermarket carbon fiber parts that may or may not fit well, a frankenstein 997 bumper, cheesy LED lights, black rocker panels (!), and an immensely tacky Fast-and-Furious rear wing.
Every single one of these things reduces the value of the car, unless today is opposite day, which it's not.
Sorry to be the board curmudgeon, but there you have it.
