I'm trying to paypal for the Walrod slinky rings and suddenly Paypal stops the transaction, claiming I have reached a "limit". They will lift the limit if I either:
-link to my bank account instead of credit card or
-apply to their credit card
What a ripoff and mafiosos these people have become!!!!
To Chris: I will send you a check. No more Paypal headache for me....
"Have become"? Are you kidding? I've been their customer for the last 10 years starting in 2000. They were much, much worse than they are now. That's not saying that they are not deplorable now, but the tricks they used to pull before you simply would not believe if you weren't there in the early years.
But... if you guys have your checking accounts linked to PayPal, you can send Chris money under "personal" tab and he would not have to pay a PayPal fee. Which would mean they don't take their cut - wins all around in my book.

+1 They were realy bad in the early years. They made me so upset I stopped using them for about 6 years. I just recently opened up a new account w/o incident.
They recently put a “random” 30 day hold on a few hundred dollars. The person sending the money had nothing to do with it nor did I. I called paypal as I sold an item to a man in Australia and my cost to ship it was a couple hundred dollars and the payment included shipping cost. It made no sense to me other then a way for Paypal to make money in an interest bearing Account. I have a hard time understanding how they have the right to do that.
When an unscrupulous company has no market competition it is a sour recipe. Paypal and Ebay are an example of this.
