Other than that, something could be binding. Is everything in alignment? Maybe something is loose and not tightened down?

If these don't work a really easy fix is to spray some silicon spray into the channel the window runs in. So lower it fully and using the straw that comes with the stuff lightly spray it in the channel. Works most of the time as the rubber seal the window runs in has a coating be smooth plastic or velvet like material that wears away causing more friction over-loading the motor.
You can get the spray from most DIY places.

My driver window was doing that. My mechanic lubricated the mechanical parts that operate the door and voila, problem solved. It was a 30 minute charge on my bill.

Hey guys, bringing this one back. I've got a similar problem. I don't think it's the switch as the window goes up half way at normal speed and then slows down as if something's getting in the way. Then it speeds up at the very end. Would lubricating the channels with silicon be a possible solve or is it something I need to take the door apart for to check if something's getting in the way?
