Welcome to Rennlist from one "Porsche-holic" Steve to another,....

There are several good things to do that enhance handling and performance for those track days as well as for street. A good suspension setup (and alignment) is critical for 993's and good performance software gets the most out of the motor without compromising durability.

Driving these cars is as much fun one can have with their pants on,....

Thanks for the reply. I think I could learn a thing or two reading the info on your website. Specifically about the suspension options. I will need to check the invoices I have for the car from the 2nd owner to see if any suspension work has been done. Otherwise I must assume the car is has a stock suspension setup.

But what's troubling me is the nature of your game...

Sorry, couldn't resist. Welcome!

Welcome! I'm in Red Deer with an Arctic Silver 97 Targa. I only made it to Race City once last year, but have at least two weekends set aside this year, perhaps we'll meet there!

Nice looking car

Nice! Normally we request photos of your car, and Steve ups the ante with a full track video!

Welcome!
what's up with that strange white stuff piled up on the side of the track though?

If I understand the white stuff you are referring to, in the video those are white plastic bags and inside the bags there are old tires to somewhat protect you if you decide you absolutely need to drive into the hard concrete walls. Or are you referring to the snow in the picture? LOL

I believe our brothers to the North and East call it "snow", yes...
We don't get any of that stuff down here.

Wow, Red Deer. I grew up there many years ago. And I thought I had to wait until I moved to Texas to buy myself a 993 - but of course I get to enjoy mine year-round!

Welcome. Calgary is a great place to drive a silver 993

My $0.02 is that turbo rear wings and narrow bodies don't mix.

Thanks. I sure do miss my old 964 C2. Some days I think I should have built a 375hp 9M engine for it and not bought my 993...
