Sorry if this is a repost but it's so good I hope no one minds. Everytime I watch this I have to immediately drive my car. There is such a definitiveness to the air cooled 911 as sports car simplicity...and Rohrl what you you say. God.

Thanks for posting. Brings back memories - I've lived in this area for about 6 months, and the "Eifel" ist just fun to drive, especially if you own a motorcycle! Comparable to the "Tail of the Dragon" in many ways! BTW - the Nuerburgring is not far away either; maybe 70-80 miles.

Thanks Jordan. Since it's Friday night movie time, most folks, hopefully, won't mind me re-posting my favourite, which I never get tired of watching:

Need to try and capture some video when I do my Eurotrip this year. Me and my baddy taking turns driving/spotting up roads like this. Germany to Austria to Switzerland this year.
As for vids, here is one of the best I have seen from Clarkson. Not fun, but true.

I prefer the Michelin and Freytag & Berndt maps. Order them before you get there.
Look up the second post on this thread where I discuss maps.

Good advice, Alex. I have the one from 2 years ago and it is a Dolomites map by Tabacco. 1:500.000 and did well for us.
2 of the guys I ride with have businesses they plan tour with often:

in Munich: Targa Turismio (have to search for the exact link, I'm on my phone)
