Default OT: Senna would have turned 50 today...

There are two things in my life that I'm very passionate about... One is our cars Porsches especially 993!!! and second is Ayrton Senna. He has been my hero forever and my inspiration. He's desire to be the best and giving his all to achieve the ultimate goal, F1 WDC. F1 will never be the same w/out you...

He was a great driver, it's similar to Dale Earnhardt to Nascar not the same once your hero's are gone. Nice photo's, I think i have his car in a very detailed Tamiya kit I need to assemble some day. Been busy with the Rossi bikes 1/12 really nice kits.

He would have won >6 or 7. His 94 car only lost to Spoonface because Spoonface punted Hill in Adelaide. Hill made too many mistakes and lost the 95 title to Spoonface. The Williams won in 96 and 97. All 4 of those could have been Ayrton's. He will always be the best in my book. Schumacher ruled because Ayrton was gone. RIP and happy birthday Ayrton.

Agree Senna was the best in my view.

Have a look at this or search on youtube for Senna European Gp at Donnington 1993..The 1st lap in the wet is amazing!

His nephew Bruno Senna has just started in Formula 1 for the Hispania team......He wears a similar coloured helmet to Ayrton and you almost have to do a double take as they look fairly similar. Lets hope Bruno can go on to emulate some of the success of his legendary uncle.
