Default starter replacement

How much time do you think it should take an experienced pcar mechanic to remove/install a starter? TIA

I did mine in an hour and a half and I'm only a weekend warrior. Getting the car up on the jack stands was more time consuming.

Depends on what the "BOOK" says it should take, my mechanic charged me for two hrs when he did mine last fall.

It's OK, I'll have the last laugh when he works for me this weekend at our Performance Driving School and I make him put in a full 8 hr day for NO PAY!.................LOL
