Default Wheel well liner with Turbo nose

Is the point at the bottom of the front half of the wheel well liner different for a turbo nose than it is for a standard nose?

My wheel liner came loose and the tire rubbed through it. I ordered a replacement, but down at the bottom it doesn't match very well where it is supposed to attach to the front bumper.

Looks like the shop did a little mod on the old part (see left in pic below, new one on the right). Can I just order one for a turbo, or are there other differences that won't make that workable?

JPS,

You can use the turbo bumper cover fender liners. They are different than the 'frog mouth' bumper cover style. I used these on my conversion a few years ago.

A lot of people just mod the existing fender liner although it is not a great 'factory' fit.

Part numbers:

1 – 993-504-125-01 wheel housing – LH.
1 – 993-504-126-01 wheel housing – RH

There is attaching hardware as well that you can pick out of the PET.

Hope this helps.

Thanks! Are those front half or back halves?

The front half of the liners are different as well as the support brace. You'll need a roll of the weatherstripping (clips on to the outer edge of the liner) if you're going from NB bumper cover to the "S" cover, too.

Attaches to the inside of the bumper cover about half way up from the bottom outside corner of the cover. There is a hole in the liner that lines up with a hole in the support where a bolt fastens the liner to hold the liner in place. There should have been a support brace in there before you changed out the bumper cover. Same idea, just a different (longer) dimension. Inexpensive, as I recall. Left and a right sides are different, so there are two part numbers.

The PO of my car did the Turbo bumper with the stock liners and it isn't a clean fit. I just ordered the new ones from FD Motorsports because I am getting ready for a front bumper respray and want to clean it up a bit. As posted above the part numbers are.....
1 – 993-504-125-01 wheel housing – LH.
1 – 993-504-126-01 wheel housing – RH

Not sure exactly what they cost because I ordered other parts as well. Contact Darin or Mark at FDM.

Everyone,

These are the ‘extra’ parts I ordered to do a professional install job for the turbo bumper cover:

1 – 993-504-125-01 wheel housing – LH.
1 – 993-504-126-01 wheel housing – RH
1 – 993-505-793-00 support bracket
1 – 993-505-794-00 support bracket
1 – 993-631-181-00 retaining bow
1 – 993-631-182-00 retaining bow
1 – 993-575-740-00 sealing
1 – 993-575-738-00 sealing
1 – 993-575-772-00 sealing – lower
1 – 993-631-141-01 vent drain – splitter bottom drain.
The old ones will break when you try and remove them

4 – 999-190-104-30 rivet
4 – 999-591-764-02 speed nut
6 – 999-591-699-02 speed nut
10 – 999-507-442-02 speed nut
8 – 999-073-081-02 tapping screw
10 – 900-187-103-02 screw
20 – 900-143-159-07 screw
10 – 900-143-113-07 screw
20 – 999-498-008-40 plastic nut
4 – 900-145-092-07 tapping screw
4 – 900-075-260-02 bolt
4 – N-011-666-7 washer
4 – 999-704-150-40 washer
10 – 999-591-485-02 speed nut

999-911-437-40-xxxmm sealing rubber – this is the weatherstripping that goes along the front fender inner liner.

On the hardware and attaching parts I bought more than I needed and kept them for use elsewhere on the car. These are the inexpensive items.

LOL, that's pretty much the same thought I had when I saw that list.
