Default WTB: 993 WB Coupe

I'm looking for the best C2S or C4S that I can buy with a budget of $50K. Please PM me with details. I'm watching ebay and the classifieds already, so I am really just looking to hear from private 'Listers who are considering selling their cars. Thanks in advance

Adding for the summer and will decide what to do with the "extra" car in the fall The big push to buy now is the Canadian dollar!!! I still love my C2, just looking to see if I can take advantage of the currency exchange.

Mark,

Enjoy the "hunt", now with our Can. $... very good opportunities! I bought my 1998 Ocean Blue Mettalic C2S last March in California, and love this Porsche, this is the 8th Porsche we have bought, probably my last!

She looks great Bert! Well, they say our dollar will stay near par for the next 2 - 3 years, so I guess I have lots of time to find the right car So far, not one bite though???????

Mark,

A little out of your price range but have a look at the 1995 here. Now that's a wide body.

Good luck with the search. The good ones are becoming harder to find. I was lucky, I stumbled on mine. Paid a little too much but couldn't be happier!

I think all NB owners should mod their cars to look that way, minus the hugetail. It really looks good....

If you wait until the '96s are 15 years old you will save another 6.1% duty bringing one up from the US. Its something to think about.

ps I just bought a nice set of NB hollow spoke turbo twists from a guy out in your area. Its hard to find items like that in Canada!

Hey Matt...can you point me to a source on the 15 year thing? I know that cars 15 years and older do not have to go through RIV, but I thought that a car had to be 25 years old to be exempt from Duty???

Crap. I think you are right according to my checks. Sorry to get your hopes up. http://www.importcartocanada.info/fa...-from-the-usa/

When I brought my car across I just remember the guy saying it was too bad it wasn't a year or so older. I thought he was talking about duty but it must have been RIV fees. I guess there are no reasons to delay then!
