Anyone have alternatives in Socal?
This shop is very high end. Which is good. But thats one hell of a price. This includes removing all windows and the sunroof...sheesh...a big job..

That is a PITA job and actually one of the few items I would consider delegating to someone else. The price doesn't surprise me.
There's a good body shop in Van Nuys called Real Auto Body which may be cheaper. Ask for Nazoe or George.
Hope this helps,
Joe

No..I'm pretty sure its a fair price for the job. I guess I didn't now that the windows had to come out, etc.
Thought there was a way around it.
By the way, I don't need any enabling. I'm fine screwing things up on my own.

Be nice. He's new and hasn't completely turned over his wallet to empty it...yet. Was this Autos International or someone else?
Wow. Is anyone paying $150 for even high-end mechanical work? I'm hoping it's 8 hours @ $90 each and a $30 materials "shop" charge.
Me, too. Hard work. Only perfect will do. Many opportunities to screw up.
