Special Cars and Coffee Invitation

The Z Car Club Association is hosting their 2010 convention where they will be celebrating the 40-Year Anniversary of the Z in Nashville Tennessee from July 28 – August 1. They are expecting 450 to 500 participants.

The exciting part is that the folks at Nissan have invited the local Cars and Coffee group to come join them for a front row parking spot for the event.

The major event (Car Show) is in Saturday, July 31st. On Saturday, the Z Car participants will be positioned in the lawn area in front of the Nissan Headquarters building @ 1 Nissan Way, Franklin TN. (almost at the corner of Cool Springs blvd & Carothers Parkway) The Cars and Coffee group is invited to park on the street half of the top level of the parking deck.

Signage stating “Classic Cars ” will be in place to direct you. Cars will be allowed to enter the garage area starting at 7:30am . There is enough parking for 75 cars on a first come first serve basis.

I'm looking forward to joining the Nashville crew this fall as I will be living in Huntsville, AL from September through May. I'll be bringing my 996GT3 as my DD, so hope to spend lots of time on the Trace....

That Tubo S was amazing. I loved the color keyed roll cage. I couldn't beleve it was a tip car. The owner has only 900 miles on it.

Sorry I missed it, as it looks like a good turn out.

Why do the tip cars catch such flack? I have a 6 speed and love it, but have considered selling when I get it built out, and maybe doing a 3.8 for a C2S/C4S, and think a tip would seem to make a fine DD, especially for city driving.
Just wandering.

Sorry I missed you guys as well. I had planned on going, but had too much on my to-do list today and decided to skip out. I went to the Ferrari event a few weeks ago. Someone from JPA brought the GT3RS they have on hand out and parked next to me. Hopefully in about 5 years I can pick on up- I love the orange!

I think the new Turbo S's only come w/ PDK now. There's a Black '11 Turbo S Cab PDK at JPA last I was there.

hated to miss yet another one, but I had a father/child football event I signed us up for at the Titans football complex and it ran from 9-12. The things we do for our kiddos...I'll try for the next one. I just need to put these on my calendar so I don't book over them. My boys would love this event too...
