Well, you won't see that color in a Targa, probably ever, on the road.

Congrats!

Default what are the chances?

Given that there were only 462 96 Targas sold in the N American Market... what are the chances that this is my car?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yl2R9fX78mc
not sure why the link isn't working to youtube... same color combo as my new targa is used for the Motorweek road test...

I pick it up soon and intend on seeing when the build date was... also have an email into Motorweek. Small world.

I always wanted the Targa. From way back when. And as I grew older the Targa got upgraded through the last 25 yearsof my life. From simple functional to a complex German engineered WonderWolrd. The view with the Glass roof is so much more, and an extension of a great philosophy.
Not many cars give the panoramic "fishbowl or F16 fighter view" as you drive along. Winter rain and sunshine give a different perspective of driving experience in the Targa.
For those who are on the same page as me, we wonder what others are missing. And yet we long for each other as a secret brotherhood with similar "views", attained by a certain financial freedom weather it is in an old 1978 Targa or a 997.2 newest one.
We FEEL the same, by choice, in our blood.
Porsche gave us that and we precariously look for our fellow drivers, scanning tail sections to find that fellow life "Genieser" like Germans say. The ones that truly enjoy life.

I enjoy driving my wife's 993 Targa more than my own car.

The 993 Targa would be perfect if it had the rear 'hatchback' feature introduced in the 996/997 Targas....that is about the only thing it is 'lacking'.

Happiness is owning one 993. Owning two is happiness +1.

Congrats on the addition. The deviating carpet (black) really makes the interior. How about a shot of the cars together? That SY C4 coupe looks stunning!
