Anyone have Instructions for Bird Console install?
I found a Bird console/armrest for my 993 but PO couldn't find the install instructions. Anybody have a set they could scan and email to me? My mechanic hasn't installed one in a 993 before and would like a set if available.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Installation is a no-brainer. I figured it out without any instructions - took about 15 minutes. Once you take cassette holder / storage cup out it becomes pretty apparent how the armrest mounts. Just make sure you have all the hardware and you're good to go.

Sam Bird very kindly emailed me the complete PDF files for installation. Kudos to Sam. The console is a high quality product and I was very fortunate to get one that appears unused, in black.
Thanks to all.

Gordo993's Trixie is landing at my mechanic's shop in 90 minutes (Intercity - the driver called just like he said he would). I sold my '98 C2S in 10/05. If I have had a "Buddhist cleansing", I would posit that 4+ years is a little long in the shower.

Just got home after a delicious breakfast out with my wife. Pictures will go up on Gordo993's "A Bittersweet Day" thread later.
Yes, 4 full driving seasons was longer than I planned but in '05 and '06 I had one child at NYU and one at Cornell (full boat at both - no aid, no scholarships). These schools were recently ranked #2 and #34 most expensive colleges. The kids have no debt, which is more than I can say. Younger finished in '08 and I have been looking off and on since then, getting dead serious over Thanksgiving, figuring I had until May to find one for this part of the country. So, took me about three months of intense searching, I'm surprised how much i like the pastel yellow. Several nice cars out there right now, CalvinC4S, so good luck and go for it. I wanted a NB; judging by your handle you should have a bit more selection, even if the pricing isn't as friendly.

Definitely not as many NBs (I didn't want a basket handle) from what I could tell. "NB" can be a bit deceiving; the cars are plenty wide in the ****, IMO and I think the difference is around 4". I'm not sure why their prices are so much less, but it worked out well for me. C4S I can see being substantially more, but not so much C2S. That's just me, of course.
This car doesn't have a mark on it, but it's going to get driven all spring/summer/fall in NE Ohio. I was looking for a driver.
