Yes and no. Viola metallic is almost black when it's cloudy outside. A very deep, rich purple. This color is called "Violet metallic" by the dealer. I'm not sure it's the right name but it's certainly a one off. I've never seen the color before. Zenith blue has a lot more blue in it than this color. Doesn't even look close IMHO.

Where do you guys find these ads! Great looking cars, both of them. Love looking at the pics. If I was a member of The Dead music group or maybe a Janis Joplin sound-a-ilke band, I would want that purple car for sure.

does anyone know for sure if this is Violet Blue Metalic or Violet Metalic ?

definitely not Amaranth. which is much deeper violet (see photo below).
as it turns out the car in the op is indeed Violet Blue Metalic (as is the 968 below).
