Not that a VP of Marketing would never travel... Related topic: I've thought the Gamballa looks to be a bit over the top for me, but at least you know he's passionate about cars.

I'm with Matt and others in this one, no need for me to pass judgment; if it's real then that's a terrible thing to happen. If it's fake, then it's a terrible thing to do. Either way, someone is doing something despicable.

For the record:
My family home is in the small town of Parkville, MO., near Kansas City. I commute to Oxnard twice monthly. I work from my home office frequently.
Our company manufactures forged wheels for many of the top tuners in Europe, including Gemballa. I post regularly on 6SpeedOnline as Tech1_Mike, because we advertise on that forum.

No, you are not breaking any rules but posting too much personal information on a public forum is rarely advisable.

Anyway, while I have not called to speak to Forgedwheeler, it would appear that the stories about Mr. Gemballa having been kidnapped have been confirmed by the German and South African authorities.

Hopefully we can all join together to hope and pray for his safe return, regardless of what we might think of his creative vision.
