Hi, I am new to this forum, after acquiring a c2s vesuvius grey in December 2009. I bought the car with 18 inch wheels. I am interested in restoring the car to original equipment condition. I know the car is a special edition originally comes with 17 inch cup 2 wheels with grey colour painted centre, can anyone tell me if the cup 2 wheels should be of a certain size or they only come in one size. And is it fitted with spacers front and/or rear? And what size spacers if they are fitted?

i would stick with the 18s. they look so much better and you don't need to run spacers. the C2S i recently bought came with the orig Cup 2 wheels and it was the first thing i changed to turbo twists. if you need a set of wheels and tires, i can sell mine. the 18s were an option for these cars so having them will not make your vesuvius not original... at least so i think.

The vesuvius C2S came standard with 17" wheels and two 31mm spacers fitted on the rear axle.
I have a used set in stock fwiw.

As Gert has mentioned, Rear has 31mm Spacer and Front does without.

I've just taken my OEM Cup II's off my Vesivius C2S and added 18" Turbo Twists, its a totally different look and one i'm pleased with.

Cup II's do look very on a slammed 993 though...

Slightly OT but whats the story on Vesivius C2S', I know they were a special edition, does anyone have any info?

FWIW, the 18" hollow spoke wheels was an option on the Vesuvius C2S so in theory they are also the "correct" wheels for the car.

You've got to love a Vesuvius thread - after all, it's the BEST color!!

Mine came originally optioned with 18" twists's. I've wondered what the 17" cup wheels really looked like in person. I assume they are painted the same steel gray as the mirrors, grille, etc.
