+1. Neither does Midnight blue. I've had both interiors. Never intended to but fell in love with both. I'm not sure about the ocean/chestnut combo. It has to be seen in person me thinks.

I like those colors together and agree they do not photograph well. I think if I was having a bad day, the interior would not help.

Too red for my taste. It's a bit too 1980s for me. Maybe adding a few more black surfaces inside would calm it down. On Blue exterior, it's a tough sale.

I was the lucky owner of a blue 1969 911E Targa with the red interior option. I sold that car in 1973 to get married and after 5 children, in 2006 I began searching for another Targa. I searched on-line for a year and finally found a Targa that was not black or grey with black or grey leather! Found an '03 Targa with the full leather Boxter Red including the steering wheel. It has the aluminum look large and it took 1st place for a novice in the 2013 Denver concourse.

I have looked and looked and have never seen the color combination of the '69 and if I could afford a new 991 Targa, I would special order it to look like the '69!

Looked at a 1995 Midnight Blue/Flamenco Red C2 in Orange County about 4 years ago. Full leather with soft Sport seats, it was a great looking car. Wish I would have snagged it.
