A friend used to call mine "the Blue M&M." To me it was always just a car. But a couple of weeks ago it started to act up and refused to allow me to unlock the doors. So after a couple of days at the "spa", being checked out by the mechanic who could find nothing wrong and pampered with a wash, it revealed itself to be female; an attention-demanding royal pain in the ***. Hence its new name: Princess Pia.

My wife used to call my ex girlfriend from High School Sweaty Betty. Calling my car that name would cause some problems.

Heidi. As in Heidi Klum. Being inside my car is as close as I'll ever get.

I guess that would work....since "Really Hot Blond Chick" probably wouldn't fit...

Various friends have named mine "Number 1", "The German", "The Silver Bullet" and "Tia" (as in Tia Carrera). I sometimes call her "The Beast".

Mine's named Marlene after Marlene Dietrich, since my car is also a classic German beauty.

You can't take it with you , so spend it getting there or let others spend it for you once you are there.
I haven't given names to my cars, but our Dobermans (4 so far) have been named after German cars. The current being name Targa.
