I am in.

My wife has been making noises about wanting to join me. You know, V Day, the wine country, blah blah. I am trying to talk her out of it because she likes me to drive the Porsche like the Lexus.

Just updated the list of RL'ers confirmed so far.

Meet at Starbucks off of Vine St. in Healdsburg - 1075 Vine Street, Healdsburg

Probably best to gas up in Healdsburg as well - route is approximately 150 miles.

Let's meet in central Healdsburg around 8:00 am with a planned departure no later than 8:30am.

Budget 4-5 hours for the drive, with lunch optional post-drive. Route details will be provided at the meeting point.

I guess it's location A not the one inside Safeway.

Default Excellent drive today

Excellent weather, roads, and company sums it up.

Just 4 of us made it, but it was a great drive.

Even poking along (in some, but really not too bad traffic) on Hwy 1 was neat - awesome surf today and watching the waves crash into the cliffs and rocks was phenomenal.

Great to hear! We want to set up a date in a month or so? Easter is 4/4 this year.

Great runs !

Nice meeting all of you guys ! What a great group !

Weather couldnt have been nicer.... and going thru those initial twisty roads in the mountains, above the fog, underneath the fog...thru the fog... and around the sun straight for 30 minutes or so with only one single car in sight was really something !

Phil needs to learn how to slow down !.... He set a precedent that I later "inherited"

Aside from the beauty of the cars, I noticed how differently the rear window of the Targa is from the other 993s. (The rear-most side window) It accentuates the rear pillars and is very striking, making the butt look even bigger (a good thing). Glad you guys had a good run!

Looks like a good time!

I was over on the coast (blue cab) for a bit yesterday too... but with the wife and kids.
The surf was HUGE. We were around Bodega Bay

Beautiful weather, at least it was mid-day and into the afternoon. We drove back with the top down
Hopefully I can make the next get together

Guys,
That was FUN yesterday!
Alf, I'm glad you "inherited" my initial "spirited" driving style, but, let's admit it, you took it to another level!
Perfect weather, roads, cars, and new friends!
Alex, thanks for putting this together. Have fun at Traffic School!
'Till we meet again!
Phil

Damn, Missed you guys yesterday but needed to stick close this weekend. Would have been like good old times chasing Alf in Dannen's old car.

I'm itching for a run myself and miss the get togethers.

Terry, Got to make it happen up North on Hwy 36 again this spring.

Will try to keep in touch more, just been really hectic deadlines since last summer.

Eric
