Hmmm, very nice to know. Anyone here try this shop? I am very much interested as it's 30-min away from me. Cost? Quality of materials they use and, of course, workmanship? Anyone try them with their 993 seats and how they look in the car?

Yeah, you need to talk to Mike (Arena993). He replaced his seat leather and carpets with their products. I've heard their materials and color match are factory perfect.

A little further south are Auto's International and Tony's Upholstery, both are used by Concourse restorers and their names are synonymous with award winning cars:

TrimLine http://trimlineauto.com/ in Redondo Beach,

I had my former 911SC seats recovered by them, using kits from http://www.autosintl.com/
(see above)
you can walk to the pier and beach while they work on your car!

Do a search for Autos International in Escondido. They have a very strong reputation as a Porsche interior specialist. I'd totally drive down there, if I needed work done. Haven't yet personally...

Heritage Custom Trim out of Blaine, WA just redid my front/rear seats for the 924S last week, and I live in AL so distance is definitively not an issue! And quality? You'll be blown away, they are outstanding!!!

See the following link, and select "924-944-968", then "Seats" (mine is the grey cloth/bugandy pinstriping):

http://heritagetrim.com/m_porsche.htm

Talk to Tony, he's the owner of Heritage Custom Trim.

Regards, Andre'

I thought GAHH just supplied the materials to DIYers and upholsterers. Do they actually do in-house repair and renovation?

They can do either. You can buy the pieces/inserts, or you can leave the car with them and they will do the work.
