I think this program has been on a few months ago. But I saw it (for 1st time) this past week on MSNBC. A 1 hour bio on the life of Ferdinand Porsche.
It covered his early life - designing race cars for Damler Benz, then through the war years (where he designed heavy duty transport machinery for the Austrian Army - which provided tactical advantages in mobility for their army), then through the "people's car" era and his unfortunate relationship with Hitler - then the early Porsche years.
A good program. I'm sure it will be repeated again in the near future.
Anyone else see it this past week?

I saw this along with two other bios advertised two or three weeks ago and I was bummed with they didn't play as scheduled. I hope they come on again.
