IMHO, Split tails should be finished to match.

The split grill in black on the '95 looks good. I think it takes the focus away from the basket handle. Perhaps this is an option for me rather than deleting the basket handle.

IMHO the inset can be any color the owner wants it to be -not what someone else thinks is "correct".
It looks better in black with certain contrasting body colors. Just My opion not a rule per say.

I don't mind the black on that red paint and with the black top. But on my car I'd go with body color because it's silver.

It all depends on the specific car and paint scheme, imho. And if it's not a late model C2S, there is no "correct" as it is. They're "incorrect" for having the split in the first place.

We can't have ever body doing what they want. There would be chaos. We need rules. That said, I can't decide as there are so many options...stock basket handle, no basket handle, black split grill, body color split grill, etc. Oh well.

I like the split grill a lot, but I like it in contrast to the body color (so black in the case of my car.) And, I prefer the basket handle. It provides a nice lift point for the wrecker when you go off-track.
