Must have been the red mist
Hard to believe. The red mist surrounding the car must have impaired the vision of the high bidder. Well sold!

There was a comment by an auctioneer in Classic Motorsports a few months back, about the madness at Barrett driving up prices.
But I was under the impression that Euro stuff usually doesn't do as well, there.

I get the low miles, but is that 928 looking nose a correct factory option?
The wheels look very cheap.

That car is all aftermarket and **** aftermarket at that. There was no factory option in 1978 for that. Some douchebag spent about 3 times that car's value.
