Any one know the color coding for the sway bars? I searched, but can't find any complete data. My C4S rear is yellow, but I've got PSS-9s and I'm not sure its a stock bar. Sorry I haven't stuck calipers on it either to check the diameter yet either...
I know from flatsixforme, that the mo30 rear is blue and he's seen a range of colors: blue, white, green, pink, yellow.

Thanks,

the sway bars themselves are not color coded like the oem springs are. The sway bar bushes however are color coded.
I don't know the others but RS use green dots on all the rubber parts. That includes suspension arm bushes and sway bar bushes
the best thing to do for the others is to measure
993 Swaybars
US:
- Carrera: 20/17
- Carrera M030: 22/20
- Carrera S/4S: 20/17
- Carrera S/4S M030: 22/18
- Turbo: 22/19
ROW:
- Carrera: 21/18
- Carrera M030: 22/20
- Carrera S/4S: 20/18
- Carrera S/4S M030: 22/20
- Turbo: 22/21
- RS: 23/20 (adjustable)
Hi Keith
Here are Pics of the Sways on my 97 Carrera with M030.
The front has white paint and Measures 22 MM.
The rear is indeed with Blue paint and Measures at 20 MM.
These parts were orrdered with a Sport Chassis Upgrade / Order Change by the Dealer from Porsche, after the cars Original Order had been placed. The Parts were installed at the dealership before it was Delivered New.
Not sure if this would be different from what may or may not have been installed at the factory but thought it should be mentioned because many dealers sold Upgrades at time of Delivery.

Keith, Can you let me know what the size is when you get around to measuring?
Thanks Tom

interesting that the 4S does not have the same bars as the Turbo, as I always thought the 4S had all the suspension from the Turbo.
learn something new everyday. And when I read Mr. Verburg's posts, I learn a LOT!
True dat...
What I found even more interesting is the M030 rear anti sway for the US Carerra (- Carrera M030: 22/20), is larger than:
- Carrera S/4S: 20/17
- Carrera S/4S M030: 22/18
- Turbo: 22/19
I wonder why the Carrera S/4S M030 rear sways are 2mm smaller?

A little late in the reply, but tonight I pulled the rear ARB off and put the calipers on it: 17mm rear bar. I didn't get to check the front bar yet.

So looks like I've got the non-MO30 setup on my C4S. (front to be verified)

Seriously...I thought I had all the Turbo underpinnings...I feel a bit cheated. And YES, Bill's posts are a treasure trove of fantastic info! Thanks Bill for the quality posts!
