Thanks to Cactus, a few months ago, we did a group buy on XENIT and a bunch of us obsessive-compulsive types started cleaning our undercarriages, engines and wheel wells. Then came the free sample packs of Invisible Glass. We got hooked on the stuff and found that our local Lowe's carries it. My wife keeps a spray bottle in the kitchen and I've got one in the garage. FWIW, it really does an excellent job. (no affiliation, I assure you.)

Is this just a replacement glass cleaner? or do you use this in place of something like rain-x or wax on the windshield (something I have heard many do... but I never tried it)
at some point... one of you compulsively insane guys have to do a DIY on "cleaning things you never knew should be cleaned" or something like that.

People should really make their own glass cleaner with 1 part denatured alcohol (found at your local hardware store) to 2 parts distilled water mixed in a spray bottle. Spray on a white 100% terry cloth towel to wash glass, then buff dry with a different towel.
One key to clear windows, are to use designated window towels, and never use fabric softener of any type to wash & dry your dedicated window towels.

Wal-Mart also carries Invisible Glass. I actually haven't used it yet, but the Xenit fumes make me happy! I also found out that Stoner makes some stuff we use here at work (mold release agent for curing tires).

Sorry to disagree. Xenit is an awesome product but the invisible glass is not my favorite. Hazes on the inside of my windows within a day or two, when nothing else does.
