rear deck lid emblem differences between 996 and 993?

Default rear deck lid emblem differences between 996 and 993?
Does anyone know if the carrera emblem for the 996 and 993 is different size, shape etc? Ive seen silver 996 emblems and the 993s are black, but it appears that the 2 are the same... Anyone know for sure?

i think that 993 carrera emblems are black while the 993 carrera 4 emblems are silver. don't know about the 996 ones though!

C4s are black also (brake calipers are silver). You can order a silver one, though. Also, the 996 anniversary edition has a silver "911" emblem.

996 emblems are bigger.

There was no black '4' on the 993, only silver.

That was what I was wondering. So for perfect match, you must go with the 993 part. Thanks!

Correct. Cheapest place I found them was Sunset in Portland, OR.

My C4 had a black "Carrera 4". I have since removed them, but not sure where the only silver C4 badge story comes from.
