I went all the way with Darin Fister!
I mean mufflers, of course, for any sickos who assumed something else I have owned Darin's Stage I, Stage II, and now Stage III, it just gets better and better. Let me start by paying homage to Leland Pate (LPMM) and Robin Sun (RSRs and too many other contributions to mention). A few years back, my mufflers were used as the prototype for Darin's first LPMM modification, later to be known as 'Stage I'. I ran these mufflers for a couple years, loving the new sound. After hearing Stage IIs, I upgraded to an even better sound. While I loved my Stage IIs, I got bit by the Stage III bug. I installed them (ceramic black, incredibly light) Saturday morning and went for a short drive. The short drive turned out to be about 90 minutes as I could not get enough of the new sound. It is completely intoxicating, not obnoxious, but you definitely know there is a high performance sports car in the area I don't think a 993 can sound better than this, a constant smile every time you accelerate. I have one caution for 993 Stage III owners....."if your erection lasts more than 4 hours, consult your doctor immediately"

Very nice! I've also gotten used to the Stage II's, and every time I see one of these threads about the Stage III's, my mind starts wandering........ Must resist!!!!!
BTW what did you use as ramps? Doesn't look like wood.....

Good idea, I am out of town this week, will try when I get home. I know Darin or Mark would help, unless someone else with IIIs can do it sooner.
That is just cruel

That's a great looking lift... which Bendpak is it?
Curious as to why you decided on that model. Any pro's/cons? I assume the ramps are to give you clearance to get the car high enough to access the lifting points? Does it scratch/damage your floor at all?
Thanks for your thoughts.
Best,
Matt

Matt, it's the MD-6XP, no floor damage, needed the platform/ramps after new suspension/RS ride height. Here is one of many threads on it....

Well, since the cats is out of the bag, I'll post a pic of the prototype. Yes "Stage IV" ( I couldn't think of a fancier name)
Projected -81 to +2 HP gain, depending on how you "dynamically" configure it from the driver's seat, with the 17 randomly placed switches on the dash. I haven't figured out how to make it weightless, yet. Perhaps a dozen strategically placed helium balloons in your engine compartment.
