Hmm.... Not sure the speed of the car matches the sound of the engine. Compared to other carson the road, its actually not that much faster, whereas the speed of the engine suggests the car is going much faster. Good movie nonetheless.

Classic film that's been circulating forever. It's available on DVD now, too.
The fact is that it's NOT a Ferrari (that website says it is) but a Mercedes sedan. And not going that fast at all. The Ferrari soundtrack was done in the studio. A testament to good film making than to cars.
There was even a film made on the making of the film.

Cool. I just showed it to my wife. Told her that is all there is to see and that they all drive like that over there. Now I don't have to take her to Paris. More car parts for me!!!

This is a cult classic film....Rendezvous...first time I saw this was back in 1972...College Sports Car Club meeting....have often thought about trying to find it and.....here it is..
