I might have you beat. For getting to and from work I drive a 90,000 mile 1990 Buick LeSabre (burgandy/burgandy). Originally purchased by my grandfather, it had only 50,000 miles when I got it Dec.2005. The thing is darn near bulletproof and I can leave it at work for days on end without worrying about it. Starts every day, gets reasonable gas mileage, and I think the set of Sumitomos I bought last year for the 993 were more expensive than ALL COMBINED MAINTENANCE COSTS of the Buick during the past 40,000 miles. It may be ugly but you want one, don't you?

Pinto, like Gremlin or Pacer, is such an icon it's cool again...sorta. And it's RWD! But you have to be deliberate about it. Original owners need not apply.
