the sound difference is negligible (between varioram and non)

In your clip you put your foot into it a bit more
The more you press the loud pedal, well... the louder they get

I figured

Ya know, it is really hard to tell via online video. So many variables between camera, position, how the video is processed for upload.
I've heard other various exhaust clips online and then heard the same setup in person and it sounded quieter.

Your clip sounds more like what I hear out of Darin's car (and others as they drive away from the shop).
Makes me want the Stage III in place of my IIs

Was that you? I whistled to see if I could talk to this bad dude with the great exhaust, but you were probably in the warm confines of a 993 with Stage IIIs, with the windows rolled up.

And, if it wasn't you, it was someone else with a very loud, great sounding 993.

That was me! Had to take it out for a quick spin - and to pick up lunch at Taqueria del Sol. Let's go for a drive sometime soon --- or at least grab a beer at The Brick...

Sounds great. I live on Garden Lane, just a few blocks from the square. I'll send you a PM and we can park the 993s on the square and grab a beer at the brick!

Hey guys...while you're at it why dont you go for a cruise with the III's and make a YOUTUBE video? There are few if any good video/sound recordings from INSIDE the car with stage III. I am torn between II and III and would love to know if I can take my wife (#1) out in the 993 after the install!

Jim, I'm glad to see you made it out of Highlands in one piece, after all this icy stuff we've been having on the roads.

Another new member of the Stage III Fan Club! I just installed my Stage IIIs on Saturday morning and have been driving the 993 as much as possible since then. I can't get enough of the new sound. I had Stage I & II mufflers and was extremely pleased with both. However, IMO, the 993 just can't sound any better than with the Stage IIIs. The sound from the driver's seat as you accelerate is completely intoxicating. There goes my gas mileage

Are the III's really useable as an every day thing. I was thinking II's but if I'm going to pay freight to Australia I only want to do it once - and the stock 95 993 exhaust doesn't do it for me.

Darin is barely keeping up with orders now as it is

And we need a Stage II demo car so local folks (and some crazy road warriors) can hear the difference and make a decision
I still love the IIs though so it's not like I can complain too much
